Solid curved oak

This was a true challenge. A curved, milled shape in solid oak. A piece of oak stock was ripped into 30 1mm wide sections. These were then glued up to make a curved laminate using a specially made jig that clamped it all together in the correct dimension. A table router was used to hollow the profile and form the edges.
